Holbrook Recreation offers two youth basketball programs to help kids learn and improve their skills in a fun, supportive atmosphere. Pee Wee starts in November and Shooting Stars starts in March. Our program emphasizes basic basketball skills, fundamentals, team play, sportsmanship and fun!

Shooting Stars - Grades K-2
The Holbrook Rec is pleased to offer the Shooting Stars program for children in grades K-2. This program introduces children to the game of basketball and focuses on the fundamentals of the game. This is a six-week long program.
Pee Wee - Grades 3-6
Our Pee Wee program is for grades 3-6 with leagues for both girls and boys. Evaluations for grade 3 & 4 boys and girls will be on Monday November 4th. Evaluations for grade 5 & 6 boys and girls will be on Tuesday November 5th
** All evaluations will be held at the Holbrook School Gym 6:15 PM – 7:15 PM**
Once teams are selected a schedule for games and practices will follow. Practice schedules are determined by coaches but are typically one night per week. All regular season games are held on Saturday mornings. Registration for this program is currently open for the 2025 season.
